Dr. Newsom was born in Akron, OH and received her undergraduate education at The Ohio State University. She attended medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed her internship and residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Newsom is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, Eric and Elizabeth, going on hikes, boating, and going to sporting events.
