Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Columbus, OH
Michelle is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner returning to Columbus, Ohio, from Durango, Colorado. She earned her Bachelor’s in Spanish and Chemistry from Denison University in 2015. She swam competitively in college and is proud to be a two-time NCAA Champion in the 200 and 400 Individual medleys.
Her nursing experience includes working in the step-down ICU float pool at Ohio State for three years and several months of travel nursing. She has experience with the adult gerontology population in cardiology, neurology, transplant medicine, orthopedics, and general medicine. In the Spring of 2020, she had the uniquely challenging experience caring exclusively for COVID-positive inmates as a bedside nurse for the first several months of the pandemic.
Michelle is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner (CPNP) who earned her master’s from Ohio State University. Since graduating, she’s worked exclusively in pediatric primary care and wouldn’t have it any other way. She is also working on her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and expects to graduate (again) from Ohio State in May 2025.
Her husband is also a nurse and studying to be nurse practitioner. They met at Rock City Church in 2019 while volunteering on the worship team. Michelle loves caring for children of all ages and has a sweet spit for adolescents struggling with mental. She’s excited to be here and cant wait to meet you and your kiddos!
