Scheduling regular
well-child visits with a pediatrician is essential for ensuring your child’s health and development. After Hours Care
For immediate
after hours care, a pediatrician is on call 24/7. If your child has an urgent issue, please call our main number. We partner with AccessNurse in Tennessee for after-hours support, following Dr. Barton-Schmidt's guidelines to address concerns and evaluate the need for immediate care. Any advice given will be shared with your pediatrician the next business day. Please do not use the after-hours line for scheduling appointments or prescription refills; instead, check our Office Hours and use Self-Scheduling Visits. Contact us during office hours or via the Patient Portal for appointments or refills. We recommend visiting the “Is Your Child Sick?” section on our website for helpful information before contacting our after-hours service.
Behavioral Health
Our dedicated team of pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and behavioral health clinicians are here to assess and support your child's
behavioral health, specializing in various behavioral concerns and school-related issues such as inattention, anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, and toilet training challenges. If you have any concerns about your child's behavioral development, please reach out to our office; we are ready to listen, gather essential information, and determine the best care approach for your child. Should a Behavioral Evaluation be necessary, we will gladly assist in scheduling that appointment for you.
